SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In here this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
